Description

Mar 14, 2015 I'm at about 40k miles on my Corolla (2010 Corolla S 5-speed manual,) and I want to change my transmission fluid. I went to an autozone and asked them to look up the fluid for my car, and they came back with some synthetic multi-vehicle ATF (it says WS on the back, so it would probably be fine in the automatic transmission.). We got the dreaded semi-automatic transmission flashing N error. Clutch or clutch actuator failed. Naas Toyota in Kildale charged us 100 to tell us that it would cost €1500 to repair, yet they didn't know for sure. They were very unhelpful. The car had a flashing red oil light on on way home. We decided to junk it. That car was the worst we ever had because of the semi-auto transmission and poor dealer service. We will never go near Toyota again. Skoda and Opel are much more reliable.
